Normally, I use whatever graphic or picture I like to dress up my builds, but this time, the OG art was too cool to pass up ... so, here's my familiar looking Shika Fuzz.
It was a smooth build. I went throurgh the cap drawers to see what's floating around ... And I didn't have any 12k resistors at hand but wanted to finish the build, so I rolled my own. Transistors are all at 290 hfe.
Sound is amazing - on bass! The tone knob covers a lot of useful ground, for once, I'm not necessarily staying on the dark side of the tone pot.
Also, I like the sustain rolled back on this one. It can get massive, yet stay surprisingly articulated - at least for a Muff type of fuzz.
I mean, I love Muffs, can't have enough of them, this one is a great addition!
