Hi all

Does anyone have any feedback for a Siglent SDS1202X-E scope. Two channel, 200MHz. I have the possibility of getting one at a very good price. And although I have managed to build stuff so far with out one, it might be handy to have around for some of my builds.

I have the SDS1104X-E. Slightly different specs but fairly similar. (The 1202X being superior)

It's not a bad scope, the interface is a little finicky for some functions and the text is pretty small so it's tough to see if it's sitting a good distance away but otherwise it's more than enough for most pedal related tasks.
 
Thanks Robert. Hopefully it will be sitting right in front of me. I certainly dont need a pro level one but want one that will last and cover all my needs of pedals/amps etc.
I think i might have to go and have a look at it.
 
Sometimes the older stuff is just better. At everything!

Last time I used a scope in anger was a loooooong time ago at University so I’m sure you probably had to wind it up 🤣 and it took up most of the bench too!

This one looks like it could slot into my bench easily. Which is one of the reasons why I like it.

Will go and have a play and see what it does.
 
That's how my old Sencore is... You can fit four or five of the Siglents in it's footprint. (not even counting the height difference)
