Not too long ago, I wanted to learn SMDA... and I knew Eagle was EOL soon. I knew KiCad some, but my research suggested that EasyEDA integrated to JLC SMDA so much better. So I went with that, and EasyEDA is SO EASY! 3 weeks in, I had learned EasyEDA, SMD, SMDA and had developed a SMDA version of Q-tune.
Same exact size board, same exact circuit, just SMD instead of thru hole. I printed 5 prototypes from JLC, cost about $100. Only 4 things to solder: 2 audio jacks, DC jack and momentary.
I did make ONE mistake, I reversed the audio jacks (doh!). But I was able to cut those traces and jumper around so the input is on the right and output is on the left. Here it is in a 1590b.
The plan could be to offer these fully assembled since it takes: 5 minutes of soldering, and about 10 minutes of assembly for 15 minutes total. But we wonder about offering the SMD version as a kit too. There's a poll question if you're interested.
