Some of my Mach 1 and Southland builds seem to be microphonic with a loud thumping when tapping the case.
I did realize that the Cliff Jacks weren’t grounding to the chassis, but i added a ground wire and it helped a little but didn’t solve the issue.
After searching some solutions to microphonic pedals, I tapped around the board and components with a chopstick. It’s loudest on the lower right side of the board and on the switch terminals, but no one capacitor seemed much louder that the others, so much as the bottom right corner of the board and the switch a loud.
Since these problems seem to be cropping up with the these two very similar boards I’m guessing, I’m over looking the same thing in my builds or maybe they have the same bad component
Any helpful input appreciated
