SOLVED Spatialist with no dry output

Just what the title says. The mix knob mixes between the effect and no signal. Other than checking the wiring again or replacing the mix pot (which I might try on my next day off) I'm not entirely sure what to do or where to check. Bypass works fine. Effect works fine. Just no dry signal when the effect is on.

Any thoughts?

I previously had a Spatialist with the same problem but in reverse - for me it was the FV-1 chip. In your case, it may be the quad opamp with a bad section; a bad solder joint; a solder bridge; an incorrect component value; and the list grows from there. Any good clear photos?

Ooh, you know what? There's a chunk messed up on the socket for the TL074. I'll replace it and check for any other socket malfunctions. Thanks for the tip! Pictures to follow (in a couple days, haha).

Boom, fixed!

Changed the socket. Tried two TL074CN's and the other made that old tv static noise. Put the old one in and went back to the old problem. So, I took my time and reflowed everything and now it's fine. It may have been one of the pots. Had to use those solder lugs ones instead of the pcb ones cause Tayda was out and I was impatient, oops. Anyway, who cares? Sounds just as good as the last one I did for a friend of mine.

Thanks for the assist, Cybercow!
