Can I convert an SPDT to an SPST by just soldering to only 2 of the 3 legs? I’ve never had a board call for this until now and I don’t have any SPST switches.
Slightly off-topic, but I recommend using the continuity test mode of a multimeter a lot to get to know exactly how all the parts work and what lug does what (toggle switches, stomp, 9v jack, 1/4” jack). It helps build confidence, make easy mods, and not have to rely on wiring diagrams as much, troubleshooting, etc.

I finally got a decent MM last week so I definitely plan on getting a little more well acquainted with it. It's already come in handy with biasing J201s (something I'd never tried before).
