Space dolphins.
I enjoy dirt boxes that are different. And this is quite different. This is fun to play around with for sure. Incredibly impractical but who cares. As long as you enjoy it, that's what matters.
Used a IT308V (I think) with around 58hfe and little to no leakage. I tried about 4-5 different germanium transistors and this one worked the best. Also tried a 2N3906 but that sounded blown out. Also tried a couple different diodes but stayed with a D9K. Oh and a big old 220n cap since it fit.
