Sproing Mod (standard version)

I recently built a standard Sproing reverb and it works great. But I notice the reverb is barely noticeable until you get halfway up or so. Could this be solved with a simple taper change on the pot?

Here is a link to what im talking about.

Well, uh I forgot the second half of the post. lol.... I was hungry.

I'm going to use a linear pot on mine. There's a 100k linear pot on AB763 deluxe reverbs amps. Soooo...

Plus I couldn't find a A10K pot at TAYDA when I was ordering......

Sorry to revive a zombie, but instead of making another thread about Sproing mods…

Did the linear taper pot give you a better working range? I have the same (minor) complaint, that the knob doesn’t seem to do much for the first third/half or so of the range.

I also thought about trying to get more sound into the reverb unit itself to increase its apparent effect, perhaps by dropping the value of R9 to 15k (or slightly less?)… but I don’t know enough about how op-amps work to know whether that would accomplish my goal or detract from it.
