square solder terminal on PCB

I'm getting stated on a Dung Beetle and wanted to know on the pots, square solder terminal on PCB is (1) or (3)?
also, maybe I have an older PCB (2 Q's) on the LED it is different than what is posted/web site, older/current? the square solder on PCB for LED is? ID is with an A and a K.
