On a couple fuzz pedals (FF and one knobbers) I've built on vero, I get a static or whooshing sound with the pedal engaged and guitar volume rolled back to 0, others I don't have this issue. All work great, besides this anomaly.
I've checked, rechecked and reflowed solder joints, but it doesn't help..
I am wondering, is it possible to overheat the power filtering cap, such that it is noisy with all signal to ground? Thinking later when I have a few mins to swap one out and see.
If it was happening on every build, I would say it was a "feature", but seems to be me or a component..
Any ideas?
