Station Wah w Seagull Mod

It was serendipitous that the seagull mod thread was revived shortly after I picked up the PCB for this. Thank you @Feral Feline for the straightforward wiring diagram.

Not sure how much I’ll use it. Maybe only when I wanna get far out man.

I searched the forum for the orientation of the inductor from SBP. I found one photo, but no one confirmed the placement was correct. I’ll say it here- this worked for me.

I kind of wanted to do a resonance control, but I already had a design in mind.

Good stuff. Love that knob. How did i not know about the seagull toggle mod? I have to try this. Is that a On/On DPDT?

Thanks! When I hand drill, it’s almost always noticeably off, so I decided to do this one intentionally offset.

Really happy to see that some of my posts actually help people, from time-to-time.

I used the same inductor in my Station Wah build and mine looks just like how you've oriented yours, so my build has some hope. I've got some debugging to do still on it.


It's interesting how you arranged your seagull-pot (trimmer) — very clever to use the 3PDT's ground lug. I may change mine to that.

The diagram was set up for a typical wah, hence the bypass 3PDT being north of the board and seagull-switch, even though the PCB in the diagram is labelled for the decidedly non-wah-enclosure based Station Wah. Just noticed that.
