I know this is crazy and will never get done but I'm gonna post it anyways. These things are SIICCCCKKKKK. I dont know what kind of tube is in this thing, maybe @vigilante398 and @Robert could collab on this in some parallel dimension where you guys arent busy as hell hahaha. or a maybe Jeff could do it hahaha

I can't find any gut shots of the echosex online. I checked the user manual hoping there might be a photo showing how to change the tube or something but didnt find anything.

HELL YES! That sounds way more fun.
Cool, I have schematics because I currently sell one, but it hasn't sold well so I'm planning to discontinue it, which makes it a good candidate for a DIY project. It wouldn't be right away because I have some stuff going on (usual customer builds, day job, family coming to visit, and my band is releasing our debut EP) but maybe soon-ish.

I don't know much about EEPROM stuff. Would this project work with EEPROM for sale on Pedalpcb.com and mas-effects.com?

NICE! Glass butterfly right? This would be really freakin cool actually. Congratulations on the EP!

Yup, Glass Butterfly. My main market for finished pedals is bassists, and bassists don't need effects like guitarists do. I sold a couple, but I still have 3 fully built ready to go, and they've been sitting for months.

Yeah I wouldn't offer EEPROMs, I would still recommend getting them from PedalPCB, it will work with anything Robert does (and I assume MAS as well).

I will definitely grab EEPROMS from both. I glanced over the list of programs from PPCB and MAS and both of them have some things I am excited to try. MAS has an oil can delay program I have been itching to get my hands on. This project has some serious potential. I'm gonna have to start pulling preamp tubes out of my marshall for these upcoming SushiboxFX projects hahaha

@vigilante398 Bumping an old thread here but would a tube powered rotary simulator using EEPROMS or FV-1 doable and something actually worth doing?
I can't speak to a rotary simulator specifically, but a tube powered FV-1 project is certainly worth doing. I would like it to happen eventually, but unfortunately I have a lot going on and I don't have the bandwidth to design/test/sell a new project at the moment.

I figure out my friend. I’ll do the preamp section and you do the FV-1 thing…For the preamp I’m just gonna choose the Particle Accelerator Alembic preamp since that’s exactly what preamp guitar used into his rotary. 😂😂😂 The PA is my favorite pedal you’ve release though. The extra eq really helps.

Actually, I think he even used the Alembics into the power amp of his 100 watt Hiwatts plus a Bassman or Twin. Don’t quote me on this though.

The thing is I already have a verified circuit for a tube-driven FV-1 multi effect, but it was designed for me so it's all SMD with different daughter boards. It would take time to convert it to through-hole components and into my typical "C2C" layout style. And unfortunately time is not something I have a lot of at the moment.

@vigilante398 I was just joking brother. I know you stay busy and we all appreciate everything you’ve done. I have 3 of your projects on my board. Was 4 but it didn’t mesh with my main amp. Look forward to all your release.
