Suggestions for using a DAC0808

Out of the random assortment of mostly ttl, hex, counter chips from a neighbor a couple years ago, I saw this DAC chip. Maybe there's a use for it.

I saw suggested on mbp a midi to cv converter, but all my CV gear is gone.

Anyone have thoughts? Maybe should just pay it forward?
 
I found a second one … I still kinda want to know if anyone has thoughts on what to do with I've of these old boys.
