have really been impressed with the Lovepedal clones that I've built lately. Picked up the Super Stevie OD a couple months ago and got around to it this week. Not a difficult build and sounds really great. Really amp-like OD. Apparently supposed to be reminiscent of cranked BF Super. I really like the level up and drive down.

I didn't clean it with iso before boxing it up. I think I need a better method for cleaning. seems like I'm just smearing the flux all over the place and making the board sticky. I keep cleaning but think I need a better brush or something.

This is really a sleeper pedal. It's basically a stripped down Tubescreamer, but that describes 90% of the overdrives out there...:D. But it's voiced really well and I think it sounds awesome.
Even if I don't play any SRV stuff on it hahah.

100% agree! I'm not sure what rock I've been under, but all of these lovepedals that I've been building have been a lot of fun. so far I've built the stevie, the champ, the jtm and the tchula. I have the blackface deluxe pcb in the drawer as well.

I’ve built the JTM and Eternal Burst (Eternity) and have boards for the Tchula and Twill Deluxe. I like the JTM but was underwhelmed with the Eternity. How do you like the Tchula? At one point I owned an Amp 11 and loved the boost portion or the circuit which I believe it just a COT with the rest of the circuit basically being a Timmy. I don’t know if it was a stock cot, mine was the gold Amp 11, or a tweaked version but I miss it. Hoping the Tchula can get me that and more.

I like the tchula a lot. I like it enough that I ordered another pcb and built one as a gift for my buddy because I thought he needed to try it too. I would like to find a schematic for a box of awesome which is a Kalamazoo and an OD11 paired up apparently and give that one a try. Haven’t spent much time researching that.

The tchula is an always on kind of pedal for me with the boost when needed. Great for a small board, grab and go type setup.
