Surfy Bear blues.

I went to post my Surfy Bear Metal on Reverb. They sell almost instantly and it’s rare a used one comes up. And then realized if I sell one more thing this year on there I’ll have to deal with the tax man. Looks like dripping wet reverb will be sticking around for another 5 months. # first world problems. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Are you selling and getting a profit? Did you originally purchase new?
I bought new and I don’t think I can profit from it being used. Even though I barely used it. They usually disappear instantly on there at $300.

Do you have the receipt? All you have to do at tax time is document a loss and you should have no liability
Good point. I guess I’m just being lazy. Once you pass $600 reverb sends you a 1099. The two pedals I’ve sold this year were all for a break even or loss but not getting another 1099 is better than getting one. I’ll just hold on to it for now. Going to use the $ toward more gear anyway and that can wait too.

Pretty sure I'm going to sell mine, too. I modded my DIY surfy bear a bit and it just fits what I do. This thing nails the Classic Fender surf music thing, but that's not my jam.

I remember that build. Still one of my top 5 jaw dropping projects I’ve ever seen. 👍🏻
