I'm wondering if I can use a switching TS enclosed jack for the sidechain if muzzle. This one, to be specific:
stompboxparts.com
When I check continuity on this jack, I get the following:
When cable is inserted: switched terminal has no continuity with either of the other terminals.
When no cable is inserted: switched terminal has continuity to tip.
I see that the parts list specifies a "1/4" Switching TRS", and the wires are only connected to tip + switched tip. I just want to make sure I'm using the right kind of switched jack since I don't have any of the ones specified.
