Update 22 September 2026: All new versions that are self-hosted. You can download these and use them on your local computer.

This post contains two tools that can help you keep Tayda Electronics drill templates and UV templates in sync.

Tayda to Artboard

You have created a drill template in the Tayda Drill tool and you want to make a UV design that is aware of where the cutouts are.
  • Use the Drill to Artboard tool (which runs in your browser)
  • Download the .txt file with hole/shape details from Tayda (link next to the drill template name on the dashboard after you've saved the template)
  • Give the .txt file to the tool and specify your enclosure size if necessary
  • Download the generated SVG, import it into your vector tool, and use it to know the exact positions of your cutouts

Artboard to Tayda

You have an SVG that contains circles or rectangles for the cutouts you need. You want to create a Tayda Drill template that matches this exactly.

  • Use the Artboard to Drill tool (also runs in your browser)
  • Upload your SVG file
  • Use the table of dimensions and manually enter into the Tayda Drill tool

Cool idea. I get this error "No holes found on side A. Please check that you pasted the complete HTML from the Tayda page."

I got it to work this way on a Windows PC:
  • On the Tayda drill template page, right click, select 'Inspect'
  • On the console that opens on the right-hand side, find the <body> section
  • Right-click on it, Copy > Copy Element
  • Paste into the Claude converter
  • Parse Template
