Tear jerker Problem

Hi all.

Pretty new here and found quite a lot of info but not related to the phenomenon that I have.
I recently built a tear jerker wah and all is fine and it work !
But the « wah » effect is not there somehow or very subtle. It is more like a volume pedal that we would move slightly. The switches have an impact on the frequency and the pots works also. It is far away from any random wah or Clyde / Jimi sounding..
I changed the inductor, the transistors in case but nothing is making it better or worse.

Any hints? Anyone has the voltages that I can check ?

Many thanks!!
Michael

Sure, that make sense.

I had an issue with some soldering hole as you can see and had to patch them / buy conductivity is fine with no issue.

Thanks again !

Your pot connection looks bridged between the green and yellow. Your switch off board wires look like they're not.....something. And I'd double check all those pots you've gone off board with. I'm suspicious of some of those landing points.

Thank you for your inputs.

I check with a probe and an oscilloscope and I found that after R5, no signal is detected anymore.
All looks good at R8 and the following Q2.
I changed R5, the same .. I don’t get it .. and this explains why there is no Wah effect rather than a slight change in volume and frequency (influenced by C6-C13 via R4id path.)

Is there anyone that has an idea?

Also, I attached the picture of the pots wiring as it was asked.

Many thanks again.

Michael
