CONTEST The Fig Appreciation Contest

CONTEST
Just finished the prototype for the "Fig for a kiss" based on the Kasha overdrive. A rather raw pedal consisting of 2 JFET gain stages and four voice modes. It can go from slight peck, all the way through to a lip numbing french kiss.. give it a couple of weeks and it should be here to verify!

I'm not so happy having to use the 2P4T as it's relatively non-standard, but that design change is for another day..

Well, That's just Dandy, YOU new these were coming! :D
Is this near you?
It is, but shipping costs mean I need to get a larger order to justify it. I'll check the parts cabinet later on, worst case I have a 1P8T to use (or some header pins and jumpers, since I don't box so often).

I had a 1P8T, it seems like a waste but a figgy kiss seemed worth it. The build went fine, I could only bias Q1 (the JFET in the middle) to 5.0V, so a 50K trim pot may be worthwhile depending on the individual component. It still sounds as it did on the breadboard.

A simple circuit, two MMBF201 JFETs with a switch to choose whether you go through one (Lo) or both (Hi). The rotary goes through four positions of increasing gain and low end.

As @MichaelW found out, I am all about raw gritty boosts pushing my tubes and this doesn't disappoint. No tone knobs, and I did these demos quickly (sorry for the fubars) on my FGN SG, but the amp was set up for my FGN LP.. the basic effect shines through though..

The level was 75% on all of these..

"Clean" JTM45 slightly breaking up.
