Been there, done that.
Basically about 15yrs ago, my business had long since gone tits up, was working a lot of hours at a “real job”, was burnt out on electronics, and was going through a divorce I sold off all of my parts (and some of my test equipment/tooling).
Flash forward to a few years ago I got the bug again and wanted to start building amps/pedals again (I still did maintenance/repairs on my own/friends gear on occasion, but had no parts), and man I felt like a fool buying EVERYTHING over again. Even did the kit thing to test the waters a few times before jumping in with both feet lol
