This is the Fuzzdog version of The Great Destroyer by Dwarfcraft. I built it with the additional tweak knob mod because more noise is good. I discovered with some forum diving that the chip that the original uses wasn’t in production under it’s old name (CD4049BE) but was rebranded as the CD74HC4049E. So I ordered that one through Digi-Key and after installing it the pedal does all the noise stuff the original does (or at least what I’ve heard in the demos, I never had an original.) I wanted a messed up fuzz with noise and that’s exactly what this thing is. I will say the it’s a little bit of a tight fit in the enclosure for everything but I did all the off board wiring outside so it wasn’t too bad. This was a super easy build otherwise so if you’re looking for an easy noise oriented pedal this just might be the one to do.
