So I’ve been playing this little toy through a 10” Celestion for about 2 years now.

I use it to practice but also for very convincing cranked up Marshall tones at low volume.

It has 2 mods:

1.) The headphone jack has been converted to an extension speaker out with a resistive attenuator in the form of a 1k pot. This replaces the 500 ohm

2.) Faux “Variac” control. The stock 820 ohm resistor in series with the 9 vDC supply was then put in series with a 10k pot.

I’ll try to throw some clips up sometime next week. It is a great little practice amp and really captures the cranked Marshall tone through a big speaker. 5F4C9C5C-12E6-494F-B650-9F03178D8B66.jpeg E67CBF0F-C5D5-4E8C-90BE-4753334C4876.jpeg P

Very cool. Daredevil Pedals has a pedal based on the little Marshall belt amp like that, but I'm not sure if it's a straight adaptation or he modified it in some way. Does the 10k sag pot have useable sounds all the way through the sweep or do you think it would be better with a 1k or 5k?
