Hey there, I built a Thermionic Deluxe a couple months back and have been loving it. Last week I modded the second channel to be identical to the first channel (R13 and Gain pot to match first channel)
The only issue I have with the pedal, is the amount of gain. Im looking to mod the 1st channel to be just a little less compressed and gainy. Whenever I back down on the internal trimmer it just seems to choke everything out and gets honky sounding. So I have the internal trimmer at about 9 o clock, just barely up essentially to open it back up
My first thought it to change R13 from 27k to maybe 30K or 33K or maybe change the pot value?
Any advice or thoughts?
