I have a commission to build a pedal and I want to throw something for myself into the order. I currently have Raincoat -> BB -> Rift (octave fuzz) -> Low Tide -> Paragon -> Night Train 15G2 -> Caesar -> Pendulum -> 6 band EQ -> Muffler -> Magnetron -> Gravitation.
I am really happy with my rig. I'm not open to messing around with my echo section. I have pretty transparent boosty drives but I love the gain staging in my amp so I just use them to color the tone and push the amp. I don't own a phaser or flanger. I have the option to build something for myself for free but I can't decide what lol. I'm interested ambient mods or crazy effects and if there is a drive I need to experience then I am open to it. Essentially, I want to build something that's an interesting toy to play with since there is really no cost/downside.
The HAARP (but I'm scared of the FV1), Heterodyne Receiver, and pitch witch all interest me. I've never messed around with an autowah...
TLDR: I don't know what to build. What has been a challenging, fun, or gratifying build to you that I haven't done yet?
