So if I don't have any J112s can I use a J113? It's only one different, innit?

Seriously though, I have 2N5457, 2N5458, 2N5485, 2N5952, J113, J201, 2SK170, 2SK117 - Would any of these work in Q1?

You MIGHT find a J113 that will work. Try different ones until you get something between 5V and 6V on Q1-D.
Try some 2N5485s. Use the values for R2 & R4 cited in post #1. Try different ones until you get the desired drain voltage. The gain will be a little lower with 2N5485, but that shouldn't be an issue for you. Then go buy some J112s, they are good to have.

Yup. Had an smd one of those.

Here's the Luna Fuzz mod. Ref des match the GPCB Build Docs. Some part numbers / values changed, a few parts deleted. Compare the two schematics to see what I did. Watch the pinout when installing Q3.
