I was just watching some live versions of Impossible Germany, and it reminded me how mind-blowingly cool Nels Cline is. A pedal won’t make me play like him, but it’ll make it easier to pretend!

I love Nels Cline, and the Impossible Germany solo is a masterpiece. I thought he used a Klon after watching this:

It is a bit old, so I guess he must have made some changes since then.

The "Goo" Distortion could be a Klon...it has the right number of IC's. Looks like LED clipping is an option too...

Maybe a stripped down Guvnor with an internal mode switch, definitely not a Klon!?
