Tone Vendor MK2 classic turns on no sound

I seem to always run into this issue on my pedals. I never understand it. I believe I've put everything in the right place. I'm using old Soviet transistors, I tested them, they do work. The white dot is the emitter so I believe they're positioned correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bet the base and collector need to be swapped...sometimes those Russian transistors have unexpected pinouts! If you try it, just make sure you insulate the two legs you have to cross over each other with some wire casing left over from stripping or something like that.
