I decided to trace an old Dwarfcraft Devices pedal, Total Spack Vibes (right now), which was a modified The Internet distortion. It is a really simple circuit: multiple cascading 2n5088 gain stages. The second footswitch engages an additional gain stage.
Since it's a clone I named it Vardoger which is a spirit in Scandinavian folklore that shows up before a living person does that makes others think the person is already there.
