This is one of my favorite fuzz pedals. And I've played alot. One of those ones where I bought the retail version, sold it, bought it again, then sold when I built my own. I built the Effects Layouts version but was not a huge fan of the layout. The PPCB version is much cleaner imo. Plus I think there are some tweaks in some of the values.
I just love the fat fuzzy tones. But with the active EQ you can really tweak some other great tones. And the bias knob adds much more versatility.
Built exactly to BOM. Even found legit 2SD352 on eBay (overpriced but legit.) Took some liberties with the design. An homage to the OG.
Highly recommended.
