SOLVED Triangulum issue

Hello guys.
So I just wired the triangulum (I went with the full build, including the asterisks).
It works but when on, the pot cuts the signal entirely when it's at zero. Not on bypass, only when it's on.
Is the "original" supposed to behave the same?
Cheers

That's normal. With Level potentiometer set to minimum you short the signal to GND. To change this you would have to put small value resistor between leg 1 of the potentiometer and GND (100R to 470R). But the output level woud be very low with pot @ min.
Look at the schematic - with the Level potentiometer you adjust output signal level, not amplification somewhere inside the circuit.

In the bypass mode you omit the circuit completely, Level does not affect the signal.

My brother took my finished triangulum for himself and I decided to build another again. Thankfully I always buy two of each whenever I order.

So I finished the stompbox and I believe I did it exactly like the previous but here's what I encounter:
When it's ON there's no signal BUT I can hear hum increasing as I max the pot. Bypass works fine.
Any ideas?
