It's a circuit from Monolith, the Oracle, a 2 transistor fuzz, with 2 high gain GE PNP transistors. Monolith said:
"The Oracle Fuzz is my original take on the classic two-transistor British Fuzz circuit, but bears no sonic resemblance to the standard Fuzz Face of yore. The Oracle is voiced to resemble a MK 1.5 Tonebender’s vocal mid range bark with a thicker low end, and incorporates a unique High-Frequency-Cut “COLOR” knob which allows the user to dial in the desired amount of high frequency sizzle and presence."
I already built one of those a while ago, loved it, put it on my pedal board and never bothered to build the second one that I planned for, until now.
So, a mix of carbon comp and 2W resistors, fancy yellow caps, 2x Mullard T1 transistors (hfe 110 and 195) and 24mm Alpha pots.
Sounds great for Sludge/Stoner/Doom things - on bass and guitar!
