I have built another Twin Face pedal and it's working but I get a lot of noise with the fuzz all the way up or my guitar volume all the way down on the silicone side. However when I re-bias it to exactly +5.69V all the noise disappears and it's almost inaudible (at least at "reasonable" volume as my neighbours would say). That's higher than expected... Any ideas?
Edit: When my overdrive is engaged the noise returns (even on bypass, though significantly quieter). I have also tried replacing the TC1044S with a ILC7660 but the LFO effect was even more exaggerated with the latter. At this point this should probably be posted on the troubleshooting forum...
Edit 2: When I move the input wire closer to the silicone transistors it seems to be less noisy.
Edit 3: It was my UniVibe... I forgot to remove/disconnect that pedal from my board *facepalm*
