I feel like this should be called whatever the surf n turf dish at your local Chinese joint is called - “Double Fantasy” “Dragon & Phoenix” etc. It truly is the best of both worlds!

I didn’t have a 20u electrolytic, so there’s a 22u in there w/ no issue. Socketed trannies - very excited to play around there.. currently have BC108/BC108c & P416b 80/100hFE.

First time using legit Davies knobs. Damn, what a difference. Also true for the Mario pipe style bezel from lovemyswitches. It’s the little things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you can find some low gain silicon transistors, then I’d recommend testing them out. Something NOS before the gain values got higher and higher.

I really enjoy mine and the both sides are pretty close to each other yet have distinct flavours.
