Tyco Brahe Ocavia Diode Lift Mod

So, im trying to figure out how to add the diode lift switch to this Octavia vero layout, Ala Fulltone Octafuzz.

Can I leave the diodes on the board or should I take them offboard? Looks like the cathode of both diodes are going to lug 3 of the volume pot. Just unsure of how to wire the switch for this one.

There is another old layout from tagboard effects but kind of like this layout from dirtbox better. So would be cool to adopt this mod to this layout. I have a bunch of SPST I'd like to use so bonus if I can use one of those.

I think so.... Is that fully removing the diodes (octave) from the circuit? And from that, looks like it's break connection on the anode side of the diode?

Only one diode. With the switch open there's only fuzz, no octave.

Thanks for the response. I'm still having a tough time wrapping my head around. Could I take a wire from G1 to one of the lugs on the SPST and the other lug to ground?

There's no connection to GND. Just insert switch between diode and transformer (or diode and pin 3 of the potentiometer).

I was thinking of moving the 42TM022 over to the right some more, a little bit of juggling with the layout and you'd have plenty of room to monkey with switchifying D1, but Temol's got it covered.
