Unison Double Tracker

Hi everybody , I'm new to this forum.

I play guitar in a coverband. Playing so much different styles means I have to have a couple of different guitar sounds,
(cause Beatles don't sound like Tom Petty for example :))

As I am and was always interested in guitar electronics most of my effects are self-built.

At the moment I'm looking for something which could thicken my guitar sound (special for the solo parts)
but not mix it up like modulators (chorus/phaser/etc) do .

First invented by the great Beatles the ADT in a little box called "Unison Double Tracker" seems to be a good solution for my aim.

I read a couple of articles, stumbled upon the FV1 and found it is a great thing. Reading some example patches for the FV1 showed me it's not too difficult to program the FV1. Now, I'm at an embryonic stage of being a FV1 programmer and first thing I always do when I discover a new technology is to collect all information I can get.

This forum seems an can be a source of precious information , right folks ?!

So, my first question is, is the patch for the unison kind of public domain (so I can read, how the FV1 inside the Unison is working/programmed).
I read some threads in this forum but I really would like to know if patches for FV1-devices are public general (or never) or whatever ...

I'm sure I will have more questions , when I'm deeper into the FV1 theme soon, be warned :)

Best regards
Harry

PS.: English is not my native language so please forgive me if there are errors or misunderstandable thing in my posts. I think my english is not too bad for
daily routine, but describing technical things is not really easy (for me).

Welcome to the forum! PedalPCB has a few different platform PCBs for FV-1 based effects. In the case of the Unison Double Tracker, it's the Pythagoras PCB. It comes with a pre-programmed EEPROM .

If you want to roll-you-own, I recommend the free SpinCAD Designer application. (Works great on Mac and PC.)
