Vero fuzz help

Help! I built put a simple 1 knob Silicon fuzz and it sounds really killer. But when I turn my guitars volume off it oscillates/hisses horribly!

The only sub I used was a 15k resistor because I didn't have an 18k on hand.

Here is a link to a short video. Im currently at work but will post q picture of the board when I get home.

Can you share a pic of the stripboard? Also, are you running this as a standalone or with other pedals?
I'll see if I can get my wife to send me a picture of the strip board. Im at work until midnight.

This was stand alone, not boxed up yet. I was using the auditorium test platform to test before boxing. The signal path is guitar into auditorium into circuit into blues Jr. Powered by a daddario 9volt supply.

Here are a couple of pictures of the strip board. Obviously the wires to the the volume knob are MIA. I have a little tester enclosure set up.

Where are you running your output wire from? I don't see it connected. Your soldering looks ok to me, but I would run a hot iron down the tracks to be sure there's no stray solder. Do you have any extra transistors? I would try swapping them out to check.

The output wire was running from lug 2 of the volume pot I had it soldered straight to the board where it shows the wires from lug 2 and 3 going. But I took it off before work seeing if maybe that was the culprit.

I do have several transistors. Ill give them a go when I get home.

Thanks for the help.

I have an update!
I finished out this build and bravely attempted to put it in a 1590A enclosure with much success!

I am still getting the whine when I'm using a 9Volt power supply. But I plugged it into my Vertext battery box and no more noise!

What kind of power supply are you using?
Its a Daddario wall wart style. Not a daisy chain. I just have it at my bench to test builds.

Im going to try it plugged into my strymon power supply when I get home from work and see if it does it with that.
