Finally got around to this VFE Darkhorse via Madbean. Went with his suggestion on using a reverse 4001 on the asymmetrical clipping. You don’t get the cool factor of both LEDs lighting up, but it sounds better. This thing is freaking LOUD. I thought my Babylon fuzz was loud, but this thing with LED clipping hits unity at about 9 o clock on the volume. Not happy with the enclosure, but oh well.
