SOLVED Viib LFO noise and power on question

1. When I place a boost or OD in front of the VIIB, I get a whine similar to the LFO. Any suggestions on where to look first for the problem?

Otherwise, the pedal functions well and without the whine. The problem is only when gain is added.

2. I want to use my switcher with the pedal, but when power is first applied, the pedal is always off. Is there a way to get the relay to start as on?

If this problem is solved, then #1 is not a problem. The switcher can fix my order issue (VIIB before gain).

Thanks!

I believe Trim 2 sets the clock frequency. Try adjusting it to see if it helps with the whine.

If you want to be more precise, look up the factory setting and set the clock to the right frequency by measuring pin 2 or 6 on the 3207 with the frequency setting of your DMM. Believe it should be around 30kHz.

Score! Adjusting trim 2 did the trick. Thanks!
