Washburn stereo chorus rehouse clock noise

Hey peeps. I got this washburn stereo chorus scx.7 in a lot of broken pedals cuz it was missing the back of it's case. So I rehoused it and it just barely fit into a 1590bb lol. Just a janky spare parts rehouse nothing special. But I'm getting a ticking noise when bypassed (clock noise?). When it's on there's no clock noise just some extra swooshing in the background. Any advice/help on getting rid of it would be appreciated! Debating whether I should just go ahead and start swapping all the caps and hope that fixes it. Idk enough about chorus circuits to really know what the cause of the issue is.
