Yasssss! Tayda listened!

They probably never had stock, I guess it's a new thing. I added it to "notify when available" list. I guess if more people do it, they'll get the memo? In the meantime I'll keep scavenging perfectly good 1/4" jacks for their precious nuts...

Can someone explain the use case for these, please? I mean, I know that they are part of/come with closed jacks - but what's the use case for buying them separately (other than if you lose one that came with a closed jack)? Thanks.

wait, I'm confused and/or tired…

If that nut is male-threaded, how does it screw into the PL-646, which is also male threaded? I'll confess that I have never used them in a project.

You thread the inside using an M7x0.75mm tap and you got yourself a pot bushing adapter/extender. You can now install short bushing pots on a guitar, even through wood. More generally, you can mount them on a thicker panel than they'd normally want to go to.

For myself, I always seem to run into early Marshall style amps with the cliff jacks that are missing the nut. Jacks are cheap enough to replace, but it’s a shame to have to go thru the effort when all you need is the replacement bushing nut
