Yet another Sheepy Love/GOTA OD-1

So, my buddy Chris hooked me up with another @szukalski / @Guardians of the analog collaboration pcb. Now, I’m not a dirt pedal guy as general rule but, I’m really getting along with this one to push my amp. The SD-1 was always my favorite overdrive on the rare occasion I’d use one but, the OD-1 feels better suited for this purpose. Even though the SD-1 has a tone control, it sounds thinner even with tone rolled back. That totally works for solo purposes but I’m a chug chug rhythm player and not a solo shredder. The OD-1 is definitely a better foundation for what I’m looking for. Up until this point, I’ve never plugged into OD-1 or even entertained the idea of trying one out. So, Props to Chris for pushing me outside of my comfort zone. I actually dig this thing.

To pay a little tribute to our sheep loving member @szukalski , I used AI to create an image of what I imagine the Black Hat Man’s pet sheep would look like.

Nice build! The OD-1 really is the OG of overdrives. They got it pretty much right and tight at the start!
