J201 adapter orientation.

What is the orientation of the SMD adapter? The adapter is labeled but not the pcb, and shape is not a guide. Picture attached (It’s a 50/50 shot of being correct)

Pic is of the acetylene overdrive. For future reference does this orientation hold true for all the other j201s boards from pedal pcb?

That is correct.

The part number on the adapter board and mounted SMD transistor are facing the flat side of the outline on the PCB, exactly how the through-hole component would be oriented.

One quick tip with SMD adapters. Most of them are labeled with D-S-G on the boards. These line up with the typical E-B-C labeling you might find on some PCB's and schematics.

I saw the DSG but there weren’t any corresponding marks on the board itself. What is EBC? I am familiar with DSG but not EBC.
