I've noticed that the forum is slow to load images, maybe because we all take photos in extra high res these days and resizing every image before uploading is a pain. I've noticed some forums automatically resize images for you. This might be something for our host to look at one day as it will save them a lot of bandwidth.

They are being resized. I've uploaded some 8k photos and they end up HD-ish.....

I have about that wirelessly. It's a lot faster hardwired, here in Gig city.
Yeah I have my PC hooked up to the ethernet cable, the fiber optic cable runs all the way into the house to the router. Ironically my iPhone gets faster response because my PC is old. I bought all the parts to put together the hottest CPU on the planet last November, about 30 days after they were released, but they're still setting in the box. Finally getting the hang of running this place without 'her' and I'm getting closer to the day where I'll say 'hey, I need some new projects', lol.....

had to buy new wireless adapters when I moved into gig city
You're a fellow Chattanoogan? I got tired of replacing routers and messing with them, so I just rented their router, they can replace it when it gets weird. It's a little more per month, but it's their headache now.

nah, charter/spectrum has gig available in my area. upgraded to it when I dropped their cable tv service for fighting with Disney during football season

When you can consider that most images are only about 3 MB you shouldn't need gig speeds to download one page of images from this forum.
