Don’t forget to build a Fuzz Foundry.

Did you file down the pots or just brite force them?
Those fit in pretty nicely. A tad snug but really no extra force. The hole size on these Amazon bought perfs must be slightly larger than others. You can see the left ones pin there is still a bit of wiggle room before the solder locked it in.

I just finished a Fuzz Foundry Deluxe over the weekend. It’s been so long since I’ve had a Factory-type fuzz in the house, I don’t know what I was thinking getting rid of the last one!

I'd argue it's more for people that DON'T like Fuzz Faces!

It has it's uses though and if you want a wild, savage, howling fuzz, then it's one of the best.
They are for sure finicky boxes. Not sure I’d ever keep one on my board but they are fun to play every now and then and when all the stars align nothing can beat them.

It doesn't have to be wild, though! The Gate knob is great for offsetting the howling bleeps and bloops caused by the Stab and Comp; it helps to dial the Factory back to more normal fuzz tones.

Then again, that's like buying a Mustang GT500 and only driving it around the neighborhood...

I have mine dialed in to sound just like Ministry album. It’s nuts how diverse this thing can sound with tweaking the knobs.

Once you learn how the pedal works, it’s like unlocking a secret world of tone, hidden behind a wall of flannel and PBR cans…
