What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

How are you doing the neck pockets? Is it a standard F style? Man, I'd love to build a Novo clone with some P90's.
The neck pocket is standard F style done on the cnc, but I can measure the neck and adjust if needed to make a perfect fit, same goes for pickup cavities

A lot less. Managed to swamp the ping again. Lest 3 nights have been labeling bags and organizing parts. Was due a reset. My bench is my sole bench. Pedals to chainsaws. Have to better at keeping it tidy but it's hard when my electronic stuff comes in the dwindling hours. Did finish the off board wiring for the Weird Sound Generator nor my neice over the weekend. If you think you have to much wire stock, build one of those. I thought my last apex jr order would last a while. Well, nope. Down to a couple ft of solid core.
Okay, I just realized it looks a lot like PPCB's 'Gnat' and that was NOT intentional… fml not the same circuit, but still... *sigh*
3 transistor fuzz layed out with symmetry? Gonna happen.
They all feel the same in the dark anyway.

Crook! Cloner! Ripoff! Your schematic was wrong anyway.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

You can bridge pins 1 and 8 of that charge pump (assuming that's what it is) with a trace. LT1054 works just fine jumpered.
lol thanks for the humorous reassurance 👌

Good to know. I have a batch of TC7660H variants which are rated at 120KHz or something insane as well. Which reminds me, I haven't actually tested any others. I suppose I could just sever the trace, too.

edit: those 7660Hs pin 1 is NC so… I'll just bridge them

So what if it vaguely looks like the Gnat?

Besides, me and my legal team got into a huge argument about RefDes vs Val so we aren't talking right now anyway...

I'll just bridge them

I used to put a jumper on the back of the PCB as well.... so far I've never run into a situation where it needed to be open, all it did was create the possibility of being left open unintentionally and causing whine so I eventually just started bridging them all the time.

These dandy chaps are back on the bench after getting my rotaries in. Both work, and amazingly, one is like 87.34859% calibrated without me having to touch the trims. The other ones gonna need a little more work, as the frequencies for the clock between the echo and the matrix are wonky

Also considering throwing the extra one in a 1590X with expression inputs for all the pots

A BoomBoom that's to be paired with a Green Stinger for a commission

i love the BB/BM. My most recent suffered a blowout in drilling(I hate boxing!). Need to get that rectified. Always wanted to do a brassmaster/muff parallel pedal.
The Big Brass Muff Master!
I guess this qualifies as i put it back on the bench for the photo...
Also my first attempt at direct wiring a 3pdt. Turns out, 20ga solid core is just big enough to be a major pain in the ass.

Edited to correct amount of boom and zoom

I've had enclosures crack from getting grabbed by the bit wrong, but never blown completely out like that  .

Not exactly the same, but DeadEndFX has the Brass Monkey (Silver Rose clone) board- Muff and Superfuzz in parallel

About to test this little monster:

It's an 'Up, Down Daddy' octave by Delyk PCB-
If it doesn't fire right up I'm SO f%^&cked. :)
Looks like a nice build. I have this board, but to be honest, I'm a little intimidated by it, and I haven't started it yet.

I hate boxing too. It's the least favorite part of the build for me.
