A while back I used some JB weld (marine grade) to fix a few f$&@ ups I made on two enclosures. I over drilled the holes for the jacks. Oops. And an off center footswitch hole. Damn.
I first taped one side of the holes. Then with a toothpick, I mixed the white goop with the black goop on a piece of scrap cardboard. Then I filled in the holes, and let them dry over night, removed the tape and then sanded them flat. Then I drilled new, appropriately sized holes. And badda-bing, badda-boom.
The stuff feels strong, and sands down easy. These enclosures won’t be sold or traded, probably used for testing stuff out.
Anyway… Just an FYI for those who need to know.
