My second build but my first build report! Figured everyone has a tube screamer so I would pick up a more versatile version and try it out. I honestly prefer the louder LED clipping to the silicon and the no clipping feature is a nice touch. I definitely prefer a "transparent" overdrive like the morning glory but stacking them together brings the best out of both pedals!

I probably should have taken more time to make sure the lettering wouldn't be cut off by the knobs but for my first time using the avery shipping label decals I'm proud of what I've got. Sometimes these labels have visible marks where the sticker backing is cut (where the sticker bends) so I've been thinking of trying waterslide decals next. I also ended up scratching a little part of the decal after the fact while tightening so I just 3D printed some rocket sockets to make sure I don't make that mistake again. To drill the enclosure I also used a 3D printed 125B drill template which was a lot easier than using the paper templates. My college has a drill press which I am trying to take advantage of before I graduate and need to learn how to use a power drill and stepped bit 😅

In the future I would love to be able to use dark pedal colors with white lettering but I assume most people just use Tayda UV printing for this? I've got a couple more build reports coming and am hoping to learn how to record some very rough demos for everyone. Let me know if there is anything obvious I'm missing for the report!

Where do you source your parts? I built this pedal this week and I think my OpAmps are junk. Reordering from Digikey.
I either just add them to my Tayda order if I'm getting the enclosure from there or these I got with the enclosure from StompBoxParts. I'd probably say your safest bet is using Mouser though

Did you hand-draw the vacuum tube for your enclosure artwork? Or do you do like me, and just grab random clip art off the net? If the latter, I used a very similar-looking tube in one of my builds.
Unfortunately I'm not that talented so I just grab random art. I use Inkscape to create my visuals and they can just remove the background from most images and turn the photo into a vector art. This is the photo I used. Your build looks great!
