I heard this was a good boost, and I’m in a boost phase.

This is my first JHS build. I’ve never even tried a JHS pedal before this. You could also say it’s my first Dumble pedal build. There’s no difference between the two from what I know. I actually have the notadumble fumble, but it stays mint in the box along with the unopened notaklon.

This silkscreen had borders for larger caps, so I waited until my next Digikey order. It’s a very easy build. The bias procedure is as simple as it gets.

Here’s the short version. I love the way this sounds with single coils. It adds an upper and mid top-end clarity while still having that single coil characteristic. On humbuckers, I don’t have a use for it.

Like the Arche Boost, and @HamishR ’s Epic Boost, it’s a two knobber that has a control to increase the amount of bass (called INPUT here).

I like it. It’s worth trying if you’re not exclusively a humbucker player.

Have you tried the Modus Operandi? (Jackson Audio Amp Mode). It's been my longtime favorite. Extremely well voiced SHO variant for guitar.
At unity gain it just makes everything after it sound better. Bump up the gain to drive another pedal or an amp.

And here's another interesting one from Chuck. The QuickLime Girl basically an Elektra into an SHO with independent gain controls for the Elektra and SHO circuits plus a master volume. It's got an insane amount of output for driving amps and there's a lot of dialing to taste the two gain controls.

I have extra PCB's for the Quick Lime if you're interested. Just DM me.
