Finally finished up my build on the hybrid fuzz driver using the fuzz aldrin board and chucks part replacement list. Actually a pretty easy build but I did encounter some small issues that I had dealt with before so it took me a little longer than expected. Pedal rock though and is quiet for a fuzz! I have the screwdriver as well and they are very similar in tone with the Screwdriver being more bass heavy. Figured this would look good with my black Strat. Great build! Thanks to @Chuck D. Bones for doing the conversion sheet. I know my transistors are a little sloppy but I knew to using sockets lol.

I tried this conversion as well but borked something along the way. Mine sounded like total ass. I'm sure I did something wrong, I wouldn't expect "total ass" from either Marc Ahlfs or @Chuck D. Bones :ROFLMAO:

I’m surprised how quiet it is. My lunar module is a noise machine compared to this but then again this doesn’t have quite the gain. Marc did a great job with. Very versatile with that nice germanium touch response and clean up. I believe Marc said he designed it to be used with humbuckers which would explain the bass vs the screwdrivers bass but it sounds good with single coils as well. I assume a low to mid gain germanium was to be used. All I had was between 60-80 hfe with low leakage. I just went with the first one I tried.
