New Pedal Releases

Appart from the diy stuff What are the pedal brands folk who build their own would have on their boards?
Sonic Research for the Turbo Tuner. And then digital Boss pedals- the XS-100 and EQ-200.

But I still plan on replacing even the digital stuff with purpose-built, custom-coded effects on daisyseed & terrarium.

I also use a rubberneck and keep a behringer vibrato around as a back up to my viib. Haven't been able to replace my EHX H.O.G either though I no longer use it for octave down sounds now that I have both an Ocelot and a Soy Sauce on there.

I cut off my softball sized man-bun a few years ago but I still rock a flannel and beard.
I like my man-bun. It looks like an actual haircut (for a representable look at work) yet I haven't had to go to a hairdresser in over a decade. Perfect, from a monetary standpoint! Whenever the eventual sunburst flames out, off it goes, though. Back to slick bald! It's been two decades since, and I hope I can pull this off without looking like a skin. That attracted too much negative attention... Anyway, yeah. None of my money will ever go to that profession.

Anyway, I'm curious about this one! I would love a single pedal that puts me right into the Southwest Desert tunes: blues-y drive, trem, verb, rude compressor. One can dream!

Also, here's one for "those" ...

Might be the desert is further south and it’s the worlds first mariachi sim pedal ? :D

Yeah, they both used the MN3011 chip which probably could have been used to build a semi-decent reverb and was the intent behind its release but with a lot of excessive engineering required and probably by the time it hit the market digital was becoming more affordable so it was met with a bit of a shrug by the industry...
The EHX circuit is less vintage magic, more, we got some samples, let's whip up a quick circuit and toss it out, it's very dull and not in the good moody way and the FX45 (thanks for that) somehow managed to use two to do not much more exciting.
It likely just ended up being used in car, karaoke and stereo systems to add a bit of a fancy stereo spread.

Besides those, can't really think of any BBD reverbs, it was an avenue that went untapped.

The Fairfield sounded okay, although I wouldn't say I heard anything I've not heard done with just two delay lines but perhaps it's a bit more lively in person.
I've been messing with 3 and 4 tap verb via the Cabintech digital BBD emulator chip for a while now, and once I get the second one built up I'll have stereo and/or eight tap options. But that chip is also way cool for glitchy stuff, and I'd love to see some other people here jump into designing around that aspect.

Well, I got that somewhat right! Just halfway short of my all-in-one dream device, lacking pre-amp and compressor. Another best-of pedal, as it looks to be their entire Vertigo (which I already have) and all the necessary classic reverbs from Ventris (+ a new tank reverb).

Been disliking the fact that they don't update the Ventris with some of the new algorithms they stuffed into their newest devices.

Digital stuff I'd never be able to code, let alone build (Eventide H90, KMA Machines Geminus), Fortin/Guptech gates that I don't wanna go down the OOP part rabbit hole with, and an RJM Full English (yes, it's a Blues Breaker, but there's *six* different clipping circuits AND total MIDI control).

My whole board is diy except for a Polytune. The only thing I feel I miss out on is a dual delay with tap tempo, and the El Capistan. But retail pedals are too expensive and delay is probably my least used effect.

One of Robert's biggest fans has a new pedal

I actually really think those or the original one sound really good! Just too pricey for me.

What’s the Mr. Black deal here anyways? Did he get pissy because some of his pedals were being traced?

I bought a new MXR Power 50, Tom Morellos signature pedal, for $65 and free shipping. I believe it’s uses Mosfets and is an amp in a box. Even has an fx loop. I think there’s several MXR pedals that get overlooked.
